Sizzling, sexy superstars Sandra Bullock ("While You Were Sleeping," "A Time to Kill") and Nicole Kidman ("To Die For," "The Peacemaker") heat up the small screen. Co-starring Aidan Quinn ("Legends of the Fall"), Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe-winner Dianne Weist (" "Bullets Over Broadway"), Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe-nominee Stockard Channing ("Six Degress of Separation") and Goran Visnjic ("ER"). Based upon the best-seller by Alice Hoffman. "Funny, clever and smart," Gene Siskel, Siskel and Ebert.

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: A witch comedy so slapdash, plodding, and muddled it seems to have had a hex put on it.
Rotten: A disappointing brew of slick commercial moviemaking and old-fashioned romantic fantasy!
Rotten: The trio of credited writers exhibits a complete failure of imagination!
Rotten: The movie doesn't seem sure what tone to adopt, veering uncertainly from horror to laughs to romance.
Remove Rotten Tomatoes Please.
This movie was fantastic, ever since I first saw it when it was released in theatres, it has a full range of emotion in it.
I think Apple needs to remove Rotten Tomatoes from its movie reviews because although they think it's an "independent" view honestly, I'll bet most of their reviewers wouldn't know a spade from a shovel.
Have seen this movie so many times I could recite it. Buteverytime I watch it is like the first time. Excellent movie.
Ignore the Tomatoes and Skip the Trailer.
Forget the experts and the terrible trailer. Practical Magic is a little dark, a lot romantic, and thoroughly entertaining. Buy it and enjoy it again and again.
