Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: The movie Redline is all about surfaces, for young men with testosterone to burn. – Andy Webster, New York Times, Jul 16, 2008

Rotten: The pic oozes the charm and personality of an industrial film. – Todd McCarthy, Variety, Oct 12, 2010

Rotten: It's hard to say whether gleaming automobiles or women's bodies are given the more fetishlike treatment in this vanity production. – Frank Scheck, Hollywood Reporter, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Do yourself a favor and stay home. Griffin's 21-second wrecking-the-Enzo video on YouTube is more exciting (and better directed, and better acted ...) than anything in Redline. – Peter Hartlaub, San Francisco Chronicle, Jul 15, 2007

Simply Amazing

To put it simply, this production of anime is not only superb but refreshing. In all my years I have seen various types of plots and anime styles but this simply takes the cake. Not only did this production take seven yeras in the making but it also has no CGI or any computer form or tool of enhancement. I am thoroughly impressed witht he anime styles, colors, designs, and interesting plot devices. It is basic and simple with a few flaws such as the name references but I can't help but overlook them as my mind is so intrigued by how amazing this movie is. It is refreshing, a long time coming, and hopefully it will inspire greatness to be achieved by new projects. My hat is off to you Takeshi Koike. Thank you producing a type of anime that invigorates people. I know some interesting animes that are at this level of professionalism are few and far between. I cannot wait to see the next project you produced.

Great film

I saw it online but had a bad connection so the animation was streaming badly but it was dubbed. I wish I could buy it English dubbed that's the only way it could be better. Still great subbed.
