About the Movie
Reefer Madness is a campy cult favorite first released in 1938 as a propaganda film meant to scare America’s youth away from drugs. In this quintessential classic, innocent teens partake of the “demon weed” only to find that one puff plunges them into a hilarious web of murder, sex, lunacy, and jazz music. This cautionary tale has since become the height of camp entertainment among today’s high school and college crowds. You may think you’ve experienced this mind-altering “hit” before, but you’ve never seen it like this – in color for the first time and presented in an over-the-top way that’ll leave you rolling… with laughter. So fire up the film and enjoy!

Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: The original antimarijuana film (1936), offering the true inside story of the devil weed that drives men to savage lusts and women to unspeakable depravities, along with a little bit of dumb fun.
Fresh: One of the most absurdly earnest exercises in paranoia you'll ever have the good fortune to see.
LOVE Reefer Madness in COLOR!
This is a fabulous movie and a real treat to see restored (after so many scratchy versions) and in color. This 1930’s cult classic really pops off the screen. Really recommend seeing this if you haven’t, and if you are already a fan, the restoration and the color make it worth watching again.
Loved This One!
Let me start by saying that when you take Reefer Madness, an already strange and funky cult film, and combine it with amazing color, you are in for a hilariously fun time!! This is an excellent film gives you a good excuse to throw a party and share it with friends--everyone will love it and as they say-laughter IS contagious! Be warned!! 5 stars all the way!!
REEFER MADNESS in Color is not
Hopefully iTunes can get the original REEFER MADNESS in the B & W that it was created in. This colorized version is such a waste.
