Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: This witless installment features the usual ultra-slow-motion mayhem and helpful freeze-frames to allow us to admire the extra dimension. Fans will not be happy, however, to learn that Ms. Jovovich is more decently clothed this time around. – Jeannette Catsoulis, New York Times, Sep 10, 2010

Rotten: Jovovich remains the lone light in the increasingly lackluster videogame-based zombie franchise, which barrels through its fourth installment with a threatened fifth on the way. – Andrew Barker, Variety, Sep 13, 2010

Rotten: Resident Evil: Afterlife lacks the humanity -- interesting characters, funny one-liners -- that made its predecessors enjoyable B-movies. – Tirdad Derakhshani, Philadelphia Inquirer, Sep 16, 2010

Rotten: Like pretty much all of Anderson's films, this one is half-baked. The half that's baked isn't too bad, though. – Eric D. Snider,, Sep 10, 2010

Rotten Critics

Dear Apple,

Enough is enough with the Rotten Tomatoes reviews. They are usually never accurate in their reviews and this movie is GREAT example of that. the viewers rated this movie 4.5 stars and all of your "Expert" Rotten Tomatoes critic's gave all Rotten reviews. If anyone actually believes half of what these so called critics are writing I think you'd be missing out on quite a bit of money. Personally i have ALWAYS found apples customers to be the best critics and you don't pay them a dime. us all a few extra cents and screen space and scrap the Rotten Reviews because they are just...well.....rotten!

This is the best Resident evil. The 3d was amazing to bad you cant see the 3d version on the ipod.

Lose the Tomatoes!

Great flick! - 2nd best of the series after the first. Don't know what the critics are "rotten" about, the movie was a fun ride, incoporating alot of themes from other movies. Slo-mo moves from Ultraviolet, wierd face hugger looking vamps from Blade 2, the big scythe wielding dude from Silent Hill, and some fast moving zombies - all in all a fun movie to watch. If you are looking for a new "Piano" type movie you wouldn't be reading this review! I would pre-order here, but I am holding out for the combo 3-pack! If you are a fan of the first 3, then this is a must have!
