In pursuit of the best that the winter of 2012 had to offer, the Absinthe crew employed a dual strategy to both hustle & hunker down waiting. In a year of erratic snowfall, there was no other way to slay. But by splitting up and spreading out across the globe in smaller groups, they stacked the odds in their favor. The strategy worked. Tight, agile crews tuned themselves to local frequencies enabling them to tap into record-breaking dumps in Europe, heavy sessions in the Pacific Northwest, Japan, and ultimately, Alaska. It was a winter with Resonance: new riders came on board, new locations were exposed and as always, the Absinthe cameras captured all the action on film.
Gigi and Nicholas
Here are two reasons you can't go wrong by purchasing this film.
So many riders in this. Bode Merrill comes thru w incredible part again. Muller rips. Gigi has great part. And Danny Kass even makes a showing. buy HD you'll be stoked!
Not as good as the past few
Movie was good but most of the riders parts felt cut short. Bode's part was amazing def the part to watch to get you hyped to ride and the editing was great. I hate to say this because he is one of my favorite and a legend but Gigi's part was so so, it makes me think that he must have a few other parts in other movies this year. Last, I appreciate the fact that Nicolas's home mountain got a bunch of snow last year but ending the movie with him riding his home resort was weak. Should have been used for the opener if anything and it almost seemed like you used the same shots of him from earlier in the movie. Final Verdict- if you have to have all the newest movies to be sastified then buy it but if you just want a good snowboard movie from absinthe download last years, in my opinion it was a lot better.
