Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Don't stop believing. Just avoid cliched musicals that try to capture the anarchic spirit of rock with trite commercial re-treads.
Fresh: Blessed with unstoppable energy, an undeniably bawdy sense of fun and Tom Cruise in backless leather pants, it takes songs you may never have loved and turns them into a musical that's easy to enjoy.
Fresh: Just like the music, it's far more fun than it has any right being.
Rotten: Rock of Ages is not a spoof, but it might as well be, given how little there is to root for.
I hate golf, but I wish I would of watched golf instead of this movie.
Love at first beat
If you love good music, and fantastic acting, then you have found another classic to go along with your copy of Rent and Moulin Rouge.
A fun, light movie with great music
