Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: As it was in the first Saw, audiences are faced with insane leaps in logic that sabotage the last part of the film. – Peter Hartlaub, San Francisco Chronicle, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Saw II -- better-acted than its predecessor, which isn't saying much -- is so gratuitously, sadistically violent, and to such little end, that it finally falls over dead on the far side of obscene. – John Anderson, Newsday, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: At the very least, with Saw II, you get what you pay for. – Elizabeth Weitzman, New York Daily News, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: Saw II has teeth, and this house-of-horrors franchise has legs, though they're manacled to the radiator. – Kyle Smith, New York Post, Jun 24, 2010

Almost as good!

The second film in one of the greatest franchises of all time. This film is just as enjoyable as the last. It's still pretty good and I suggest you watch this one (preferably Saw first!). Good film, very enjoyable.
