Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: I've rarely seen a film so sure of its own seriousness and profundity. – Nicholas Barber, Independent on Sunday, Mar 13, 2015

Rotten: I've never seen such a bad film so well made. – Simon Miraudo, Quickflix, Nov 2, 2014

Rotten: A collage of strong scenes, dull bits, good filmmaking and a dissatisfying emotional payoff. A laudable attempt to tackle heavyweight subject-matter that ends up just being heavy weather. – Ian Freer, Empire Magazine, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: It's not what you'd call any good, but Claude Lelouch fans, say, might relish its grandiose romantic gestures in the face of all known logic. – Trevor Johnston, Time Out, Jun 24, 2010

Could Have Been Great, But...

for a movie so covered in secracy up to the release, you would hope that you wouldn't be able to figure the whole thing out 10 minutes in. Smith comes off as a pretentious actor that just wants his Oscar allready, but Dawson is fantastic. on top of everything working against it, it's incredibly depressing. this movie is a total misfire in every sense of the word, save Rosario Dawson.

Huh?

This movie is very strange...
