Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Feels sluggish and tired; its relentless, not-so-great gags hit with the soft thud of stone-hard bread crumbs. – Stephanie Zacharek, Salon.com, Jul 7, 2010

Rotten: This is a very skillfully made corporate product, but I wonder who, exactly, will be fully satisfied. – David Ansen, Newsweek, Aug 3, 2008

Fresh: The plot material isn't as strong as in the first two movies -- if anything, it feels a bit desperate -- but the anti-Disney joke blunderbuss remains in good working order. – David Denby, New Yorker, Jun 29, 2007

Fresh: "Ogre and out" say the critics, but the Shrek series still has laughs and legs. – Richard Luck, Film4, Jun 24, 2010

Still good, but not as good as the fist two Shrek's

I liked this movie, but it wan't fully as good as the first two Shreks! It was still funny. I would say rent the movie before buying it!

Shrek the Third movie review

This installment in the Shrek franchise is a letdown compared to the first two shrek movies. To me I found it unfunny and just didn't care about it. Just didn't like this one. 2/5

Loved it

This movie has been a HUGE part of my childhood!! I am so pleased with this amazing film that has brung me happiness ever since I have first watched it!!😍 Though the last 2 movies were a little better, I still think Shrek The Third was one of the funniest and most heartwarming!
