Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: The effects are competent, the action has exciting moments and the story is interesting enough, but the parts don't add up to a compelling sum. – Claudia Puig, USA Today, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: This isn't Sin-bad. It is just Sin- mediocre. – C.W. Nevius, San Francisco Chronicle, Jul 30, 2003

Rotten: The old Sinbad movies gave that sailor the narrative respect he deserved. This version is formulaic and crass, hardly the stuff of grand adventure. – Jami Bernard, New York Daily News, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: Business-as-usual movie that isn't trying to make anything more than a medium-size splash. – Desson Thomson, Washington Post, Jun 24, 2010

So underrated.

I saw this movie in 2003 and it was pretty good.

this is by far one of my favorite movies! I can watch this all day everyday! it's comical and adventurous and shows change in people. I love the stubbornness between the main characters! Amazing film still to this day

While the 3D monsters aren't the best there still cool looking the rest of the animation is nice and flowing it's what you would expect from early dream works films overall not a bad movie
