Follow a flamenco prodigy and her troupe’s journey to make it in the Big Apple. The old adage is that if you can make it in New York, you can make it anywhere. The dream is simple enough: Venezuelan-born flamenco prodigy Siudy Garrido and her dance troupe want to bring their production ‘Entre Mundos’ (‘Between Worlds’) to a famed midtown New York stage and sustain a successful multi-month run. But the process of making that dream a reality – from securing funding and travel, to generating creative grassroots publicity, to attracting the attention of national press – proves to be a gruelling and often soul-crushing process.
