Nope!

Bright kid acts dumb and stupid. Good premise...bad script...kind of boring...needed more special-effects. Actors couldn't save the movie. Rating: 2.60 stars.

Could have been good

The story line was nothing like the description, nor the preview. It kind of irritates me that they took a kid, who was apparently suppose to be brilliant, turned him into a two bit drug dealer/magician and then expected us to believe he was going to turn into some type of super hero. Don't waste your money because the movie is all over the place with no real ending. Is the kid a super hero? Is he a magician? Is he a drug dealer? Is he a brilliant scientist? I'm sick and tired of these garbage movies being portrayed as something they are not just to get us to spend our money on the junk Hollywood produces! If you can't sell the movie for what it is, perhaps you shouldn't have spent the money to produce the movie.

Easy 5 Star Movie...IF

Great movie. Could have been epic if they had gone a little further with it. Fantastic story, acting, and character development. I felt they stopped short of true greatness, but still a solid drama/light action film.
