About the Movie
Cassie is an over-achiever with a thing for bowlers whose life takes an unexpected turn when she reads an ominous statistic. Chronically absent and infamously eccentric, her recently deceased, professional bowler father has left her with not only a freeloading mother on her couch, but now an undying notion that in order to remain "above average, ” she has under a month to marry the man of her dreams before her 30th birthday. Despite pleas from friends, she hatches a plan, until a fateful run in makes her wonder which she wants - the 7. . . or the 10?

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: "Split" takes a step in this direction by positing that "mental sickness" might not always be an actual illness - but then takes two steps back by exploiting moviegoers' fears that people with unusual mental conditions can be unpredictably violent.
Fresh: The movie's simultaneous evocation of both the depravity at work beneath society's deceptive surfaces and the inadequacy of the liberal technocratic order to defend against that depravity is the secret to its success.
Fresh: Split may not be to everyone's taste, but the story, craftsmanship, and excellent performances will haunt you for quite a while. As will some beastly bits.
Fresh: The film's most positive quality is the performance turned in by James McAvoy. It's a dream role given he plays so many different characters.
Doesn't spare the laughter.
Saw this movie at the preview in Louisville. It is a hilarious movie filled with fun and overall has a good message. Totally recommended.
Bowling & Romance!
Super fun! So many things that I love in one film-bowling, romance and good times. Drink some beers and enjoy the show ;-)
A throwback Rom Com
This is a great homage to rom coms of the '80s and '90s with true indie flare. And of course, Bowling!
