10 seasons and one spin-off later with two movies and another spin-off planned, any fan of either Stargate SG-1 or Stargate Atlantis MUST see this movie. Yes, Sam, Teal'c, and Hammond are noticably absent, and O'Neill is played by a humorless Kurt Russel, but Daniel Jackson is still the same. The movie lays the grounwork for the Goa'oul, Abydos, and the mission that drives both Daniel and Jack for another four seasons. The tv show has come far, progressing through enemies, advancing technology, and killing bad guys, but this movie is still a must see!

Really Good A+++

If you're a fan of this movie, you'll definately like the series. I encourage you to watch the TV series even though SG-1 has ended, but stay tune for Atlantis and soon Stargate Universe!

Loved it!

Jaye Davidson is great as the sun god Ra. Plus, he's hot! I love this movie.
