About the Movie

Years after a prank on young Tommy’s birthday left hired clown Stitches (Ross Noble) dead on the kitchen floor, Tommy’s (Tommy Knight, Doctor Who) childhood friends gather to plan one last birthday party to end all parties. But they didn’t count on the degenerate jester returning from the grave to seek vengeance on the teens who caused his untimely end. Now Tommy and his friends are on the run from an undead jokester who’s ready to use every trick in the book to exact his revenge.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: It somehow wasn't funny or scary enough - though I do have to admit it is always more than revolting enough. – Peter Bradshaw, Guardian, Oct 25, 2012

Rotten: There's nothing inherently funny or provocative about a bunch of obnoxious kids being relentlessly horrible to a psychologically troubled peer. – Paul Callaghan, Little White Lies, Oct 25, 2012

Fresh: The horror-comedy genre is notoriously hard to pull off, but this Irish effort makes a decent, trashy fist of it. – Tim Robey, Daily Telegraph (UK), Oct 25, 2012

Fresh: It's like a twisted balloon animal filled with blood and guts, waiting to burst. – Nigel Floyd, Time Out, Oct 23, 2012

Bloody good fun!

It's all in bloody good fun. Stitches is a tribute to 80's slasher with over the top practical effects. Must for horror fans!

Good Gory Fun!

It's "Killer Klowns from Outer Space" meets "A Nightmare on Elm Street"!

In its on way, this movie is awesome!
