Big wave ride starring surf legends Tom Carroll and Ross Clarke-Jones.
Best surf movie ever
No hype. Just a couple of pro-surfing retirees dealing with their own mortality, and doing a really good job at denying it. As someone in the movie says, 'these guys are down to the last of their nine lives.' They may be, but that's the price you pay when you live life to its fullest. It's the humanity and friendships that make this a great movie. Albeit, the surf is impressive too.
Best movie ever!! The best movie of the summer of 2013
This is by far the best surf movie ever to have Tom, Ross plus Ben Matson on board you couid not think of a better summer movie live life to the fullest this movie beats other previous surf movie ever to Tom Carroll Ross Clarke jones and Ben Matson I have to say is well done well done
These guys were not ground breakers. They are copy cats that have gotten extremely lucky. It's ok but, been there done that by Laird Hamilton and father Bill Hamilton. They are the TRUE inventors of BIG WAVE surfing. Before using the tow-in method, they were, using sailboards and kites to create speed. Laid Conquered Tahiti's Teahupoʻo break, becoming the man to ride the biggest, "heaviest," wave ever. Now the man FREQUENT's Maui's Jaw's break. It is his back yard. Good try but I'd rather watch the one, the only, the original; RIDING GIANTS, all day long.
