About the Movie
Straight Outta Compton UNRATED Director’s Cut includes never before seen footage and tells the true story of how five young cultural rebels - armed only with their lyrics, swagger, bravado and raw talent - stood up to the authorities that meant to keep them down and formed the world's most dangerous group, N.W.A. And as they spoke the truth that no one had before and exposed life in the hood, their voice ignited a social revolution that is still reverberating today.

Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: The core of the story is business, the object is power, and the quirks of desire and twists of the unconscious are given no place in the struggle-which the movie sharply carries ahead to the present day.
Fresh: The movie has inescapable verve, capturing why its subjects mean every bit as much as The Sex Pistols or Rolling Stones.
Fresh: To someone unfamiliar with the American rap scene, Straight Outta Compton will provide an absorbing look at a group of flawed, yet wonderfully talented artists.
Fresh: Rename this flick Straight Outta Compton: The Authorised Biopic of NWA, and you'll have no problem slurping up its many pleasures.
These guys wrote songs about raping & murdering & it gets glossed over as activism.(think I'm lying just listen to N4L) Complete BS
Tailored to Americas naive youth
Don't watch, just catered to the mindless who think the "life" is cool. Worst movie of the century
A movie only criminals can relate too….
To call this one of the best films of 2015 is so beyond ignorant. This movie was ok, it doesn’t deserve a Oscar or a Golden Globe, it deserves a spot right next to Belly, Notorious Etc. in Apple iTunes. It IS NOT the best movie ever and anyone who says that has never experienced a deep thought. The movie is good to watch but over all promotes lawlessness among the black population.
