Rotten: Holly is supposed to be out of Guy's league, but neither of them is up to carrying scene after scene of weak sparring and punny flirting.
Rotten: A talky adult comedy that finally succumbs to the confines of its setting despite a cute setup.
Fresh: This essentially two-character romantic comedy has its charms, mainly supplied by the engaging lead performances of Joel David Moore and Madeline Zima.
Fresh: Acher adroitly juggles all the gimmickry, using it to comment on Holly and Guy's burgeoning relationship.
This is a must see documentary. It does a very good job highlighting the international adoption process and puts you in the seat of families that are going through the process. My family and an I are 1.5 years into an international adoption and we could relate to this documentary very well.
Just watching the trailer made me cry. This documentary is beautiful and highlights an issue that more people need to be aware of. It touches the lives of many and it will pull on your heartstrings.
This is an amazing documentary, fully exposing the broken system of International Adoption. You follow the journey of a few families who are experiencing unnecessary bureaucratic obstacles in their desire to provide a child with the most basic human right - a secure, loving home.
This is truly a story of human rights and gives us an opportunity to see how we, as a collective whole, can help to fix the system. Must see - whether you're adopting or not, the current situation in international adoption impacts YOU. These children that WE allow to languish in orphanages, then be put on the street to try and survive, are the future of this world. YOUR world... OUR world...
