Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: The big-eyed Ms. Padukone, who has co-starred with Mr. Kapoor before, dutifully, and regrettably, permits him to eclipse her own formidable charisma. – Andy Webster, New York Times, Nov 26, 2015

Fresh: Kapoor is beautifully cast, his trademark mix of assertive theatricality and subtle emotion well suited to the role of a man who seemingly has it all under control, until he doesn't. – Lisa Tsering, Hollywood Reporter, Apr 5, 2018

Fresh: This is a welcome study of Indian relationships, couples now feel free to explore love and life free from the shackles of a still largely patriarchal society. Cheers! – Anil Sinanan, Time Out, Oct 20, 2017

Rotten: Even as this bold experiment fizzled out - and it really does in the second half, as Kapoor pursues a cure for his dullness, sidelining Padukone - I retained some admiration for its ambition. – Mike McCahill, Guardian, Nov 30, 2015

Love This Movie

A Good Movie

The movie is very good! My biggest complaint is that the story didn't flow very well, especially in the beginning. But Deepika and Ranbir give such sincere performances, I was literally holding back tears during the Agar Tum Saath Ho scene.

If you nothing else to watch, go ahead it's light and a no brainer.
