Her task is made even more difficult by her bad boy stepbrother Brad's increasingly provocative behavior at home. A stranger to her own body, innocent Dawn discovers she has a toothed vagina when she becomes the object of violence. As she struggles to comprehend her anatomical uniqueness, Dawn experiences both the pitfalls and the power of being a living example of the vagina dentata myth.

Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: Teenage horror-movie spoof, John Waters parody, No Nukes protest movie: Mitchell Lichtenstein's clever, crude comedy, Teeth is all these and more.
Fresh: Writer-director Mitchell Lichtenstein is onto something really fresh in his feature debut, flipping a graphic warning for men into an empowering fable for women.
Fresh: Campy, shameless and sophisticated, Lichtenstein's debut is gutsy and original.
Rotten: The picture is unfocused and indistinct; there's a noncommittal quality to the filmmaking. Teeth hinges on one strong idea but doesn't know quite where to take it, wobbling awkwardly between going for laughs and making its semi-delineated points.
Painful to watch
As a guy i found myself cringing throughout the whole movie. Girls may find this funny, but i was in pain the whole time. Best abstinence movie out there. No one will want to bone after watching this.
Nasty little thriller
This movie wasn't terrific, but it definitely wasn't bad. It dragged in many scenes, but when the "biting" scenes take place, it really grabs your attention and forces you to watch. It's best to watch with a bunch of friends to laugh at everyone's reactions. I personally cannot see myself watching this movie for multiple viewings, and I can't see myself wasting $15 to put it on my iPod. My advice: worth a one-time rental, at best. It's worth seeing, but not worth seeing more than once.
This movie was better than the previous reviews made it out to be. Not only was this movie hilarious and cleverly written, but being a guy it was also pretty freaky. I pulled this movie out on my iPhone in class today, and everyone had a good laugh. After showing just a few seens, everone wanted to buy this movie too. I highly recomend it, unless you have a weak stomach. :)
