Plot Summary

One for the Road is an HD ski film that follows some of the world's most progressive snow sports athletes as it documents their lives on the road and captures some of the most stunning riding to date. Road trips are an integral part of every adventurer's life and a conduit to define one's being. Journeys to new lands shed light on each skier's personal mission. Join the athletes as they rock a record breaking season in Jackson Hole, immerse themselves into the culture of Japan's powder mecca Hokkaido, discover Iceland's urban side, explore the Balkan wonders of Macedonia and Montenegro, shred deep pillow lines at Baldface Lodge, uncover first descents in Pemberton, BC, and hit full throttle lines in the perfect snow and weather of Juneau, AK. SO SICK!!

This film is so legit! Saw it at the world premiere in JHole. it has everything that you expect from a ski movie! And the soundtrack goes perfectly with the shots. One of the best TGR movies that i have seen in a while. Everyone should get at least this or go out and buy it. just get a copy of this! you won't be disappointed.

So good

Awesome is all I can say. Saw the premiere last week and it's TGR's best film yet. Great bonus features and looks incredible in HD. Two thumbs up!

BEST OF THE YEAR

Considering I saw "Art of Flight" this year and since then I have been judging harshly on ski films this season, "Attack of La Nina" and "After Dark" just look to poor in terms of quality to compete. However this film is one of the closest I've seen to it besides "Grand Bizarre". If you're looking for a sick Park/Urban movie , then "Grand Bizarre" is your pick, blows away MSP and Level 1 in terms of quality. If you're looking something more like AOF with some big mountain/AK lines and some huge kickers, intense jumps and drops then go for "One for the Road". Also I found the soundtrack here to be amazing, so good with so many intense songs, best ski soundtrack of all. Either way best big mountain movie of the season by far, for skiers at least.... *side note* "All.I.Can." deserves honorable mention for the best scene of all time with JP Auclair's urban segment, but has poor quality at points and has about 15 mins of old people skiing which nobody cares to watch.
