He might not look like much, but it's what's inside that counts. Comic genius Rob Schneider (Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, Big Daddy), TV's Survivor Colleen Haskell, John C. McGinley (Any Given Sunday, The Rock) and Edward Asner (The Bachelor, JFK) star in the most outrageous and hysterical comedy of the year. When evidence clerk Marvin Mange (Schneider) answers a 911 call of a burglary in progress, his dream of one day becoming a cop seems to be coming true. But a freak car accident en route to the crime leaves Marvin and his dream a shattered mess. When Marvin awakens a week later, he finds that a deranged scientist secretly used animal organs to rebuild his broken body. Energized by his new and improved parts, Marvin achieves instant fame as a super-cop until his animal instincts start taking over his body at all the wrong times. And when he finds himself falling for the lovely and sexy Rianna (Haskell), it's animal magnetism at its craziest in the funniest and wildest comedy of the year! Don't miss Rob Schneider in Big Daddy.

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Certainly reeks like something produced from a squatting position.
Rotten: Let's hear it for stupendously dumb screen writing.
Rotten: Frequently it becomes boring.
Rotten: A silly, stupid story with a one-joke comic premise.
This is one of Shneider's best films ever! It keeps you laughing from beginning to end. Must watch!!
Rob Schneider as an Animal, and Not Much Else
The Animal is a fun movie to watch at least once. It'll make your night, but some viewers might be expecting more. Rob Schneider is not the best actor or writer in the world, Deuce Bigalow is where he really takes off, but anytime he tries something else, its only sub-par. There are some memorable moments, but too few to count. The scenes in the liar of the animal scientist are really childish and silly, kind of ruins the film's raunchy Sandler-Style attitude. Speaking of, I really enjoyed Sandler's cameo as the "You Can Do It!" guy, cleverly reversing Rob's normal cameo. I also enjoyed seeing Lou Lombardi as "Fatty the Cop", primarily because he knows my mom. No hard feelings, It just was ok.
this movie is funny.. it'll leave your stomach hurting from laughing so hard :]
