I'm not gonna beat around the bush. "The Apparition" is the worst horror movie I've seen in my life. And yes, it's even worse than "The Devil Inside". Never have I seen a film that wasted my time in the most agonizingly monotonous way possible. Nothing scary or suspenseful happens during the film's short run time. Lights flicker on and off, cactuses and soap bars blacken, and random claw marks appear out of nowhere. There's apparently supposed to be a ghostly entity that haunts the main characters' house, but it never does anything "frightening" until the very end of the movie, and by that time, no one in the audience even cares. In fact, the conclusion to this dreck is by far one of the laziest, most insulting endings to any horror flick in recent memory besides, you know, that other terrible film I mentioned earlier. But no, it's not enough that the script is abysmal beyond belief. The acting is even worse. No one in this movie turns in a decent, or at least bearable performance, not even Tom Felton, which is sad, considering that he starred in such great films like the "Harry Potter" saga and "Rise of the Planet of the Apes". Honestly, I'm appalled that the people at Warner Bros. decided to release this abomination across the country to begin with. It's a boring, generic, unoriginal piece of trash that not even a five-year-old would find scary. Case in point, unless you actually do wanna be bored right to sleep, don't watch "The Apparition". I only wish there was some way I could erase the whole thing from my memory altogether.

What ever you do, DONT buy this movie… DONT rent this movie… Don´t even look at the trailer… you would be asking for those two minutes of your life back. This movie is TOTAL GARBAGE. Poorly executed and terrible NOT believable story.

good story, bad everything else

it had a good story going. but then it just deflated. into nothing. this is the worst horror movie i have ever seen in my entire life. it's just so bad. bye.
