About the Movie
A mysterious wormhole appears above our planet before strange objects are emitted out of it and hover above each city across the world. This global event soon prompts a one of a kind mission in space exploration history - to send the next generation of astronauts, known as Human 2. 0's into the wormhole with the hope of finding out why those objects are here. When the astronauts return sooner than expected, their memories contain experiences on the other side of the wormhole which will change the future of humanity as we know it.
Low-budget film with a good concept, but the special-effects and cinemaphotography were not all that good. Rating: 2.56 stars.
Could have been such an excellent movie
I have to admit that I normally hate fake documentary style movies, but that being said I liked this movie for the most part. Had it been done as a full fictional science fiction drama without the need to do the cheesy found footage/interview nonsense I think it would have been a stellar (no pun intended) movie. The movie itself has a very clear and evident story and sticks with it the entire ride. But it gets rather muddy, and a touch confusing towards the end. There really was no masterful craft in this script and the direction is just a movie on rails. As the viewer, I kept waiting for that moral statement of man acting like God, or man's own paranoia leads to his own destruction. There is none of that here, so it's sort of a huh ending to an already rather boring ride. Not to sound cliche here, but this movie really lacks from some dark sinister subplot. In the end, it's all just too perfect, and that is this film's undoing.
Low budget, very slow with hackneyed script
Don't waste your money on it. Was a good idea terribly executed.
