Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: This plot need not be taken too seriously. Watching it amble along is enough of a treat, since the Coens populate this story with oddballs and bowling balls of such comic variety. – Janet Maslin, New York Times, Jul 7, 2010

Fresh: The Big Lebowski is a noir send-up, so call it L.A. Inconsequential. – Mike Clark, USA Today, Jan 8, 2018

Rotten: Adds up to considerably less than the sum of its often scintillating parts. – Todd McCarthy, Variety, Jul 7, 2010

Fresh: A genial spoof about life on the unhinged margins of L.A. that's a lot more carefully constructed than it pretends to be. – Andrew O'Hehir,, Nov 7, 2007

I'm a Lebowski, You're a Lebowski...Shut up Donnie!!!!

Tons of quotable lines, memorable characters, and bowling!!! A great movie from the Coen brothers.

A Coen brothers classic. Just as the Dude abides, if one has patience, good things do come. Now let's go bowling.

One of my favs.

This is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Every time I watch it I laugh just as hard as the first time. If you like off beat comedies then rent this and enjoy.
