About the Movie

Oscar-winners Sandra Bullock and Kathy Bates, and country singing star Tim McGraw headline this deeply moving adaptation of the Michael Lewis bestseller about a young man whose size and prowess playing American-style football help him attain an education in school and in life. Newcomer Quinton Aaron portrays the oversized teenager transformed from a homeless street kid to a star athlete through the kindness and charity of a dynamic woman (Bullock--Gravity) who offers him a stable home, a caring family and the opportunity to follow his dreams. Tim McGraw takes the role of the husband who discovers the boy's talent, and Kathy Bates (Misery) plays the young man's strict tutor in this riveting, heartfelt true story directed by John Lee Hancock

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Its superficiality keeps it from being the moving story it could have been. – Claudia Puig, USA Today, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: Ohera(TM)s life is meant to make us feel good, and it mostly does. But how good we feel about his story is proportional to how blind wea(TM)re willing to be about how ita(TM)s told. – Wesley Morris, Boston Globe, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: As a fable about the power of giving, it hits pretty hard. – J. R. Jones, Chicago Reader, Aug 19, 2015

Fresh: However obvious, The Blind Side is touching -- despite its habit of dropping major character notes into the melody without warning. – David Hiltbrand, Philadelphia Inquirer, Jun 24, 2010

The Blind Side is a fanatastic movie and great for the whole family. Very inspirational and nothing wrong with it. Sandra Bullock plays a great role as the mother and Tim McGraw as the Father. Quinton Aaron really captures the role as Michael Oher and does a fanatastic job throughout the whole movie. I really suggest this movie for anyone who loves a great story. Enjoy!

This movie is a must see

This movie is great and everyone should see it I give it a 5/5 stars

A beast movie

This movie is really good. I really would vote this a 1,000,000 but they don't have that many stars. This told me that if I really try I can do what I want to do. This movie really sad too. I almost cried, but I saw this movie in theaters but I'm not saying it's a bad movie it is great, and alot of my friends have seen it and their parents have seen it and said it was great and my mom asw it and she is picky about movies and she said this was one of her favorite movies
