Rotten: Unfortunately, this low-budget production comes up short in many places: limited performances, barely developed characters, a muddled script. – Craig D. Lindsey, Village Voice, Dec 20, 2016

Rotten: An overly familiar mob drama, though the authentic Brooklyn settings add color. – Rafer Guzman, Newsday, Aug 4, 2016

The Brooklyn Banker is beautifully written and masterfully directed. The film captures the true Italian culture of 1970s Brooklyn. Troy Garity shows that he can truly carry a feature film. Veteran actors Paul Sorvino and David Proval provide a very satisfying performance as well.

Great Movie

Great movie, great actors .. and GREAT MUSIC. REALLY STUNNING MUSIC...

The Brooklyn Banker

I worked in NYC in the 70's in the Men's clothing industry. I used to take clients to Little Italy once a week, and the film really captured the Italian neighborhood...friggin great.

The story blew me away, and the acting was excellent. If you know anything about the hand game Morra, NYC, Brooklyn, Italians, the 70's, or are interested in the Mob, this is a must see.
