About the Movie

"Hare-larious" laughs are racing your way in this feature-length animated movie! Join Bugs in his 14-carrot mansion as he presents his cartoon cohorts in their laugh-out-load chase fiascoes. Catch up with dim-witted space traveler Duck Dodgers (Daffy) as he challenges Marvin the Martian for ownership of Planet X. Then, slow down for a "witty wabbit" opera as Bugs upstages Elmer Fudd...again. And speed up with Wile E. Coyote as he pulls out all the stops chasing Road Runner on the long and winding road to disaster after disaster, despite many an ACME devise. Created by animation great Chuck Jones and brought to life by the voice of the one-and-only Mel Blanc, "The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Movie" is full of continuous "quack-ups" and chaos.

Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Most of the film, which begins with a portentous opening that parodies "Star Wars" and "Superman," is very funny... – Tom Buckley, New York Times, Mar 22, 2011

Fresh: This modest retrospective provides a fine occasion to salute an American original working in a medium that will never get its critical due, but continues to exercise a mighty claim on affectionate memory. – Richard Schickel, TIME Magazine, Mar 22, 2011

Fresh: It crams in all of the best Bugs and Daffy Duck cartoons from the post-war period, plus a dizzying 15-minute compilation of Roadrunner sketches. – Tom Huddleston, Time Out, Mar 22, 2011
