About the Movie
From the producer of Oculus and The Strangers comes the unrated version of The Bye Bye Man. When three college friends stumble upon the horrific origins of the Bye Bye Man, they discover that there is only one way to avoid his curse: don’t think it, don't say it. But once the Bye Bye Man gets inside your head, he takes control, making you see and do the most unspeakable acts committed by man. Is there a way to survive his possession? Starring Douglas Smith (Ouija) and Carrie Anne-Moss (The Matrix), see the chilling thriller that critics are calling "a paranormal thrill ride that will echo in your nightmares" (Elizabeth Rayne, Den Of Geek).

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Maybe all will be explained in the sequel. If so, your writer is happy to remain uneducated.
Rotten: There may be worse horror films than The Bye Bye Man this year, but there will be none that shows more contempt for its intended audience.
Rotten: The concept is derivative of about a dozen other movies and their sequels.
Rotten: The derivative work doesn't deliver scares so much as a few starts, all while ripping off such genre classics as "Candyman" and "A Nightmare on Elm Street."
Don't Think It , Don't Say It , Don't Watch It
This movie had so much potential the acting was horrible the story was confusing 😟 save the bucks not worth it.
Don't See It
It's a bad movie about a Freddy Kruger type figure with a bad CGI pit bull pet dog that go around killing whoever says or thinks its name. The main woman in the film can't even act and the other to do a ok job of it so please don't waste your money on this film.
No... just no.
We all know that January releases are the worst. And it is no surprise that "The bye bye man" set the title as "one of the worst movies of the year". Cheaply made, bad acting, repetitive story and everything you'd except in a January release. I didn't HATE it like most people did, but I can safely say that I disliked it and it's definitely a BAD MOVIE.
