Francis Ford Coppola's provoking mystery-thriller stars Gene Hackman as Harry Caul, an expert surveillance man. Coppola's best

Why aren't there any reviews for this? This film is vastly underrated and in my opinion is one of the greatest films of all time and one of Coppola's best. If you haven't seen the Conversation, you must see it.

The Conversation

One of the greatest suspense films ever made. Gene Hackman's best performance outside of The French Connection. Paranoia, corruption, and conspiracy (the major themes from the 1970s), told in a choppy, bits and pieces way that makes the audience work almost as hard as Hackman had to for the payoff.

It's not an action adventure with millennium pacing - it's a slow descent into madness. Bleak, lonely, and oppressive. And very, very well done.

A masterpiece

This is one of the best movies I've ever seen. Thought provoking, engaging and so well made. A must see for film lovers!
