Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: If only it were allowed to be merely a cheesy romp, an Indy Jones movie with more sophisticated stereotypes and far less humor. But apparently this is no mere pop novel-turned-high-hat megaplex product. – Michael Atkinson, Village Voice, May 25, 2006

Rotten: The Catholic Church has nothing to fear from this film. It is not just tripe. It is self-evident, spirit-lowering tripe that could not conceivably cause a single member of the flock to turn aside from the faith. – Anthony Lane, New Yorker, May 25, 2006

Rotten: What's wrong with The Da Vinci Code can be summed up in one word: everything! – Rex Reed, New York Observer, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: I won't go so far as to recommend it, and I can't imagine ever wanting to see it again. – Andrew Sarris, New York Observer, Apr 25, 2007

It's Fiction!

This movie and the book are Fiction! It is not supposed to be really on any counts! The story line is wonderful amd so is the book. It is not real! I loved this movie and I think that for a person that likes suspense should watch this movie.

Price

The last time I checked , the price for this movie on appstore was $9.99 , all of a sudden apple jacked the rate to $14.99. Any reason behind that?

14.99?!? I bought it when it was $4.99

Don't get me wrong,,,I love this movie. Tom Hanks is a fantabulous! actor. However, before all of the 'extras' Itunes put on this movie to have the movie price from 9.99 then on sale 4.99, then increase to 14.99??? Come on Itunes. Based on your wide movie/music database, you are making money....
Anyway, the movie is great! Well worth watching again and again !! Definately recommend for a road trip!
