About the Movie

Watch the epic conclusion to The Dark Knight Trilogy! Eight years ago, after taking the blame for D.A. Harvey Dent’s death, Batman (Christian Bale) mysteriously vanished. But everything changes with the appearance of a cunning cat burglar – played by Anne Hathaway – and the arrival of Bane (Tom Hardy), a ruthless madman. Bane’s reign of terror forces Batman out of his self-imposed exile and into the ultimate battle for Gotham City’s survival…and his own!

Fresh: TDKR completes on the great trilogies in movie history. – Richard Roeper, Richard Roeper.com, Jul 19, 2012

Fresh: I respected The Dark Knight Rises; I didn't quite love it. – Jenny McCartney, Daily Telegraph (UK), Aug 1, 2015

Deja vu

Take the last Batman movie, remove the mesmerizing joker, remove tangled love plot, remove any convincing reason why the bad guy would want to plague Gotham and you've got Dark Knight Rises. Just rematch the second one, you'll be happier you did.
