Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: It is made by a Morrison groupie for other groupies, a film that leaves the rest of us locked outside wondering what the fuss is about. – Caryn James, New York Times, Jun 17, 2014

Fresh: Whatever reservations one may have about this exhausting, dark-side-of-the-'60s epic, there can be little doubt that Stone has captured a particular, bombs-away brand of rock & roll excess with definitive candor. – Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly, Jun 17, 2014

Fresh: I can't recall a film that evokes the myth of the Sixties more potently. – Peter Travers, Rolling Stone, Jun 17, 2014

Rotten: The film really proves only that Jim was a bad drunk and a worse friend, and that in no way was his life exemplary. – Richard Schickel, TIME Magazine, Jun 24, 2010

For A Doors Fan Watch This And Love It

The Doors

In 1967, I graduated high school in So., CA. This is Oliver Stones best movie and Val is a 5 star actor. What a great capture of the times I lived through and what a deja vu to another legend like John Lennon. Sound tracks of my life.
