Rotten: Kate Winslet can do anything ... except save this movie from quirky overkill. – Peter Travers, Rolling Stone, Sep 23, 2016

The Dressmaker

I believe this is one of the best films I have viewed in a long time. The storyline has many twists and turns to maintain interest. It is a great comedic and dramatic film. Kate Winslet presents a Best-Actress level performance, and Judy Davis deserves a Best Supporting-Actress, as well.

Fun, Dark, Moving and Beautiful

Such an amazing movie - the cast is eclectic and hilarious, the story is engaging and entertaining with dark and twisted moments scattered throughout.

The Dressmaker is visually stunning, both in the costumes (of course) and the clever use of the play of the Australian sun.

Watch the film.

Great Movie

This is a great movie. I saw it when it first came out in Australia and thought it was a shame it didnt play all over the United States. The story's twists and turns will keep you interested and on your toes. This is a must see.
