About the Movie
This explosive, action-packed thrill-ride stars Sylvester Stallone and all The Expendables plus some exciting new recruits. Barney (Stallone) and The Expendables come face-to-face with Stonebanks (Gibson), one of the original team members who became a ruthless arms dealer that Barney was forced to kill…or so he thought. When Stonebanks returns to destroy The Expendables, the latest mission becomes a clash of old-school style versus high-tech expertise in The Expendables' most personal battle yet.

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: The Expendables 3, trading on our affection for action stars of the past, has officially worn out its already shaky welcome.
Rotten: The third installment in Sylvester Stallone's jobs program for expired action heroes is easily the best of the bunch, which is not to say it's any good.
Rotten: The film's sporadic set pieces simply aren't captivating enough to forgive all the movie's other faults.
Rotten: For a variety of reasons, most having to do with a weak screenplay and poor pacing, The Expendables 3 is the least successful entry in the series.
The Best Expendables Ever!!!
I saw this movie not 30 minutes ago and from beginning to end, I loved it. Who says that a group of middle-aged men still can’t make good war movies? And thankfully, they had barely any references to their past movies, except for Shwarzeneger’s little quip about getting to the chopper, which he clearly meant as a reference to Predator, but even so, he was so much better in this installment than its predecessors. This installment also had a better adversary, one with connections to the original Expendables and was able to get inside the head of Stallone better than anyone I have ever seen. Mel Gibson played the best adversary in this installment and over-shadowed the previous films in so many ways. He was actually evil, and not some gun-toting extremist who just wanted to see the world burn, but actually wanted vengeance for past crimes that the Expendables did, and they couldn’t have done it any better than this. I am also glad that they got rid of Bruce Willis; his involvement in the first two films was a distraction from what made the movies so good, and with him gone, they were able to make the film more emotional than ever before, and I hope that the creators decide to leave at just this movie, because they don’t need to spend anymore money or effort trying to surpass this movie, it was all they needed to show that Sylvester Stallone and the rest of group still have what it takes to stay in the movie business.
This movie is excellent, it has a great plot, great characters and great action. Mel Gibson did a good job playing Conrad Stonebanks. He was a great villian in that movie, that made him a formiable opponent for Sylvester Stallone.
The Expendables 3
An awesome action film, reuniting the cast from the first Expendables save for Bruce Willis. New comers are Harrison Ford (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, The Fugitive), Mel Gibson (Lethal Weapon 1-4, Braveheart, The Patriot) and Wesley Snipes (US Marshals, Murder at 1600, Demolition Man) Antonio Banderas (Assassins, Shrek 2-4) The Expendables 3 is the best so far, am hoping for a 4th Expendables soon.
