Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Forbidden Kingdom is a faithful and disarmingly earnest attempt to honor some venerable and popular Chinese cinematic traditions. – A.O. Scott, New York Times, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: The filmmakers come off like their protagonist, wide-eyed tourists in an exotic realm. If you've been looking for a martial arts film to take granny and the kids to, this might be the one, but a Jackie Chan-Jet Li collaboration deserves better than that. – Kenneth Turan, Los Angeles Times, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: When Chan and Li match wits, each celebrates the other's presence. This isn't just a martial-arts display; it's generosity and camaraderie in motion. – Stephanie Zacharek,, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: A sufficiently entertaining diversion. – Christy Lemire, Associated Press, Jun 24, 2010

This movie comes with a digital-copy when you buy the 2-Disc special edition of the film, & it's compatible with iTunes & Windows. Just thought I'd let people know, since I am the first review.

Great movie. Would be even better if Itunes

Loved the movie. Great action sequences and a nice plot. Hate the fact that as a hearing imparied viewer I once again miss a lot of the dialogue because Itunes refuses to make the subtitles for the hearing impaired available.

The first of it's kind!!!!

This film is not only a wonderful action/adventure fantasy but also very beautiful in it's own creation!! Marking the very first collaboration between martial arts masters, Jackie Chan and Jet Li, Kung-Fu fans will NOT be disappointed! It is a rollercoaster for everyone to enjoy!!!
