Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Endeavors to be a powerful tale of faith and forgiveness, but in the end fails to capture even the slightest essence of spirituality and religious belief, or to provide any real insight into its characters' conflicts, desires and motivations.
Rotten: The soapy, cliche-ridden script aside, the picture is a technical mess of awkward framing and choppy editing that puts a dispiriting damper on all that uplifting music.
Rotten: A heartfelt but muddled melodrama.
Rotten: A sermon writ as large as a multiplex movie screen.
Loved the music and it's a nice movie to see with the whole family
Re-watched several times
This was a good movie - a very good movie. The music is great..
It isnt a high priced Hollywood movie.. looking at the "Rotten" reviews from the Liberal Media - it is not surprising... They wouldn't like the movie no matter what- just because it is a Christian Based, themed movie.. No Gay marriage, no sex, violence, no perversion, no cursing, fowl language.. So yep the Liberal news media would hate it.
BUT - it is a very good movie..
This movie shares a great message of hope and redemption.
