Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: There may be little to give you the collywobbles, but there's quite a lot to enjoy, with Ms. Morton heading the list. – Jeannette Catsoulis, New York Times, Apr 9, 2015

Fresh: At its creepiest, "The Harvest" plays like something ripped from the section of a community newspaper devoted to all things rural and weird. – Robert Abele, Los Angeles Times, Apr 23, 2015

Rotten: Nothing wrong with a little gore as long as the result is a few goosebumps. This one is no scarier than running out of ink in the middle of a midterm exam. – Rex Reed, New York Observer, Apr 8, 2015

Fresh: A smart and strong genre work that makes up for a relative lack of gore and viscera with plenty of tension and suspense and a number of impressive performances. – Peter Sobczynski, RogerEbert.com, Apr 10, 2015

Lifetime Movie Network

This was abysmal. I have now been burned (pun intended) by sham reviews once again - when will I learn. This absolutely did not belong in the horror genre...perhaps the poorly made melodrama category. Cheesy soundtrack, poorly acted (except for the kids), and just plainly insipid. Was mad at myself the whole way through for buying it. For a character driven piece, there was no character development. Oh my gosh - just a poor attempt at a thriller.

Gripping suspense

Had me on edge wondering what was really going on with this family. The twists and turns blew my mind. Makes you wonder what lengths you'd go to for your child. You just have to watch!

Edge of seat fist clenching kind of movie!

What a great movie! Intense!
