Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: So artistically well-intentioned and earnest in its ambitions that you can almost forgive the banality of its every scene.
Rotten: Although there are moments when lead thesps Zach Braff and Isabelle Blais just about pull off the implausible conceit, the pic still suffers from major problems of tone as well as stilted camerawork and editing.
Fresh: Chow and her actors are so gifted that this fragile situation escapes contrivance to become a poignant, romantic and deftly nuanced revelation of character and emotions.
Fresh: Movies often make too much of that truism, but surprisingly committed performances from actors like these can still make it feel like something meaningful.
It was one of those films i didn't want to end. I was hooked. had no idea where the story was going, and the acting was incredible. Finally something good to rent.
Dear price increase geniuses.
The price is more to rent this because it's a pre-release. Meaning you can see it before it hits theaters. This does not represent an across the board price increase.
Beautiful, mature, emotional. Great cinematography, music, and acting. I think this is one of Braff's best movies.
