Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: "The House," like too many Hollywood comedies of outrage, turns the extreme into the innocuous. – Owen Gleiberman, Variety, Jun 30, 2017

Rotten: Instead of writing actual characters, they've hired a gaggle of beloved comedians to do bits based on stereotype and persona, and have concocted a cockamamie suburban crime story that manages to be both bizarre and incredibly thin. – Katie Walsh, Los Angeles Times, Jun 30, 2017

Rotten: The film arguably gets to its midpoint before eliciting a single laugh. – John DeFore, Hollywood Reporter, Jun 30, 2017

Rotten: It's all meant to be wild and crazy, but somehow it seems simultaneously nasty and dull. – Rafer Guzman, Newsday, Jun 30, 2017

Not as awesome as Baby Driver but still a decent movie to watch.

Funniest Movie Ever 🤣

Loved this movie, when I first saw I couldn't stop laughing. Best comedy movie ever

Remember when Will Ferrell made good movies?

This is probably one of the worst movies ever. The House, really? I'd thought of a better tittle than that. Like Casino Child's Play. Because this is so stupid, I'd think this is the reason why Martin Scorsese had to invent Gangster movies. Casino, GoodFellas, and The Departed. I'd need to get a life, oh wait, I do have one, I've just wasted it. 😵
