About the Movie
Seven months pregnant, Jennifer (Emily Goss) reluctantly returns to her hometown in Kansas after an unexpected mental breakdown. Coping with her fears of motherhood, a strained relationship with her husband, Luke (Taylor Bottles), and the overbearing presence of her own mother, Meredith (Cathy Barnett), Jennifer struggles to regain control of her life. But when strange things start happening in their new rental home, Jennifer begins to fear that it may be haunted. Alone in her convictions, Jennifer is forced to question her sanity as she attempts to find out what, if anything, is plaguing the house.
If you love horror you will love this!
Worth watching, definitely.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I actually liked this movie. I went in thinking it was probably going to be another B horror flick that is so bad that it's good and it would be one of those movies I can say I saw and add to my list of "seen it's." But, I was pretty wrong.
The story was intriguing. It was just original enough to keep me interested in the main character and I found myself pretty invested in what was going to happen to her throughout the movie. It does have some of the typical horror movie jumps and pops, but they're done tastefully and not overdone. Besides, we love those parts don't we?
Overall, I thought it was a good enough movie to buy. If you like a good, character and story driven horror movie, and don't need a bunch of blood to be entertained...check this movie out.
Different in a good way
Is she haunted or is there something else going on? Interesting, non-gory but spooky movie with a real ending that doesn't just fizzle or jump the shark.
