About the Movie
In the action-comedy The Interview, Dave Skylark (James Franco) and his producer Aaron Rapoport (Seth Rogen) run the popular celebrity tabloid TV show 'Skylark Tonight.' When they discover that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is a fan of the show, they land an interview with him in an attempt to legitimize themselves as journalists. As Dave and Aaron prepare to travel to Pyongyang, their plans change when the CIA recruits them, perhaps the most unlikely candidates, to 'take out' Kim Jong-un.

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: The suffocating level of redundancy on display kneecaps any legitimate chance the film had at embracing social satire.
Fresh: Driven by the blustery, swear-happy, cadence-free performances that characterise most Seth Rogen comedies, this reasonably funny lark at least has the distinction of mixing in some light political satire with the usual knockabout fare we've come to expect
Rotten: The final third of the film, which is directed by Rogen and Evan Goldberg, degenerates into a humourless and violent Rambo pastiche.
Fresh: While Rogen and Goldberg's stance is clearly anti-North Korean government, the duo don't exactly wave the American flag high either, with the film throwing some hits the way of its own country.
Customer Reviews
One of the worst movies I’ve ever seen
I can’t believe we as the American public made such a big deal about a harmless, terrible, crude, and irreverent film. It’s funny at points, but not nearly worth how much hype we all gave it.
Moving Picture
This is the most profoundly-thought-provoking picture of our generation, comparable only to The Godfather in scope and Good Will Hunting in depth. You will laugh, you will cry, and you will be exposed to a whole new world. James Franco and Seth Rogen have created a film that will go down in history as having liberated a country full of people.
Funny!
Definitely recommend everyone watch it. Screw N Korea! Great movie. Typical Rogen and Franco humor. Dumb but funny.
