About the Movie

Every town has its secrets, as college student Rose Halshford (Miranda Cosgrove) learns when she and her dad (Donal Logue) move into a musty, old house. When Rose discovers that the previous tenant mysteriously disappeared, leaving her possessions behind, she suspects her unfriendly neighbors know more than they let on. When Rose reports strange noises coming from inside the house, no one, not even her father believes her, insisting that it’s all in her head. As Rose’s suspicions grow she begins to fear that she may be the next victim of whatever or whomever has infiltrated her new home.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: "Intruders," a distasteful thriller with a bludgeoning sensibility and little common sense, turns a cozy family home into a clockwork house of horrors. – Jeannette Catsoulis, New York Times, Jan 14, 2016

Fresh: An efficiently engineered suspenser, with solid performances and a tight pace. – Dennis Harvey, Variety, Jan 15, 2016

Fresh: The actors alone can't sustain "Intruders" for its full 90 minutes, but for the most part they follow Starr's lead, carrying a film that's both menacing and magnetic. – Noel Murray, Los Angeles Times, Jan 14, 2016

Rotten: Like the house, the movie is something of a shifting puzzle box; if only the backstory that turns its gears weren't so rotten. – Rob Staeger, Village Voice, Jan 12, 2016

I honestly believe this is going to be a great movie. It's different from the usual Miranda. She's finally growing up and out of the kiddy shows. I think this is a good movie for her.

Miranda Cosgrove is PERFECT!!!!!

She's such a talented actress and I'm sure she will do a terrific job in this movie.

I think it's going to be great!

I think this movie will be good because Miranda Cosgrove is in it. She's an amazing actress!
