About the Movie

After a career spent helping the devout through prayer and trickery, Reverend Cotton Marcus (Patrick Fabian) invites a film crew to document his final fraudulent days as an exorcist. Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: An unusually restrained and genuinely eerie little movie perched at the intersection of faith, folklore and female puberty. – Jeannette Catsoulis, New York Times, Aug 27, 2010

Rotten: The pseudo-documentary premise is paper-thin at the outset and wears out long before Botko and Gurland's script lurches toward the dumbest and least plausible solution to the mystery. – Andrew O'Hehir, Salon.com, Aug 27, 2010

Fresh: This is the rare horror film that would have been entertaining even if nothing scary happened. – Peter Hartlaub, San Francisco Chronicle, Aug 27, 2010

Fresh: The Last Exorcism is fueled by the arrogance of its smarmy outsider, the expert who knows everything except what an ass he is. – Kyle Smith, New York Post, Aug 27, 2010

I felt compelled to write a brief review as I felt this movie was a complete waste of time and money. If your looking for a good horror flick, look elsewhere.

hmm

weird...... really good though! it had it's scary moments, but if you want a good scary movie, i'd suggest the strangers or paranormal activity 2, you have to endure the first one to get the 2nd one, but the 2nd one is amazing!

Not worth the time!

I was really excited to see this movie. It wasn't even worth renting let alone buying. I am so disappointed in what could have been a good movie.
