Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: If Iron Fists is sometimes badly made, it is refreshingly badly made.
Rotten: Lunatic, slipshod, absurdly violent, horribly acted, and borderline incomprehensible.
Rotten: There's little happening here except slavish imitation and embarrassing hackwork.
Fresh: The fists, feet and digital blood go flying in this enjoyable, frenetic, largely forgettable chop-socky extravaganza about, well, about a man with iron fists who gets into lots of fights.
Don't believe the hype
Everyone's complaining about the corny effects & dialogue. This is a throw back to the old Kung fu flicks from the 70's & 80's. All those movies were were bad dialogue & corny specials effects. This movie totally captures that same feel from that style of movie. I loved it from start to finish, give it a shot & take it from someone older than 12 to writer an honest review
I'm not usually into these kind of movies especially since its supposed to be like the old kung fu movies but I must say this was very entertaining to watch, the fight scenes were awesome, the only problem I had with it was RZA's character, it was very hard to connect with him because you know he wrote the film, & I felt the film would of been better without him. 3 & a half stars
I had high expectations for this movie. It's kinda boring and the fight scenes are just like any other ninja movie(even though they're not ninjas). It's not worth wasting money on.
