Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Like Schwartzman, Stiller devotes aptly excessive attention to the portrayal of a character too invested in trivial pursuits himself. It's the movie's one decent joke, but, in the absence of laughs, the most the actors can draw from it is a mere grin.
Rotten: It's badly written and inertly directed, with actors who don't have a clue what drives their characters.
Rotten: Consider: A bad movie about cheesy a cappella and awful musical theater. What could be more excruciating?
Rotten: The film is an all-you-can-eat buffet of mediocrity. A spiraling vortex of boredom. A deflated Whoopee cushion.
As a huge Anna Kendrick fan, I watch it just for her. I own most of her movies
Ben Stiller and Jason Schwartzman are two great actors. But this movie doesn't live up to the potential that the two of them combhined could have. This movie isn't the best, and If you like to waste money, or you just LOVE either Ben or Jason, then this movie is for you. If not, then go buy Zoolander, Mystery Men, or Night at the Museum.
Easily one of the Worst Films I've Ever Seen.
I wish I could think of something good to say about this...but I don't want to strain myself. I could have done without The Marc Pease "Experience" because, well...it sucked.
