Never been done before idea!!

The star of the owner is a back pack that makes its way around the world through different stories told by different filmmakers. 25 different directors from around the world collaborated to make this wonderful film. Was entered in the Guiness Book of World Records for most directors in a film. A fun ride.

SLACKER goes around the world

This film follows a backpack that has been separated from its owner. All the efforts to reunite them are dramatic, funny, and surprising. A novel story that is fun to watch.

A lot to carry

A simple question was asked at the end of this film: Did you discover something new about yourself? Or did you discover something new about movies? I answered both those questions at the end of "The Owner." First, I discovered that I take for granted the things I see to be meaningless. Watching this film, I slowly became the main character. I was searching for something. It was not until the credits started to role, I found the answer. This "backpack" was a guide. It took me on this journey around the world, and I saw that no matter where we are, we always find ourselves searching. The collaboration with filmmakers from different cultures blended the storyline nicely. It gave me a sense of togetherness. Bottom line, this is a good movie, and a great film.
