Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: It's cast mostly with small-screen actors, looks like early-aughts TV, and raises indefensible moral dilemmas that movies like "The Hunger Games" have long since rendered moot.
Rotten: Neither sharp enough to qualify as satire nor emotional enough to be a standard drama, "The Show" exists in film purgatory.
Rotten: Early promise quickly evaporates once the film sheds its smirk and turns increasingly sanctimonious.
Not too far fetched from reality. It's only a matter of time before we have a similar shows in our televisions. This is one of those movies that it's so disturbing, yet thought provoking that you can't look away. There are some bloody parts but I find it more emotionally disturbing rather than super-graphic. Performances are excellent and the ending it's not quite what I expected but it totally works for this movie.
I watched this with a low expectation. It’s a dark movie. Gives me the feelings i had when i watched Thirteen Reasons Why. Other than that it kept my gut tight the whole movie. This movie is not for everyone, viewer discretion advised.
