Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: The film is so good-natured, so obviously aware of everything it's up to, even its own picturesque frauds, that I opt to go along with it. – Vincent Canby, New York Times, Feb 12, 2014

Fresh: Extremely handsome production values and a great supporting cast round out the virtues. – A.D. Murphy, Variety, Feb 27, 2018

Fresh: As for Newman and Redford, they have developed a form of instant communication. Words are not as important as they way they look at each other. Call it as snow job or call it acting, it is very pleasing to watch. – Kathleen Carroll, New York Daily News, Feb 27, 2015

Fresh: The movie has a nice, light-fingered style to it. – Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times, Jul 7, 2010

One Of The Best

You can't go wrong with The Sting. This is a must have for any growing digital collection. No need to traditionally "review" this title - just buy it now. Hopefully, this means Universal Studios is on board with preparing other, more recent, classics for iTunes - like Jurassic Park, Back to the Future and more.

Fantastic Film

This is one of the best con artist films ever made. It has great exposition, acting, and plot. Please watch.
