Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: "The Suspect" hinges on a link between an arms deal and food for North Korea's starving populace. That guns-or-butter dichotomy gives this workout more resonance than you'd expect. – Andy Webster, New York Times, Dec 17, 2015

Fresh: The two stunning set pieces, both involving car chases, are so inspired and teeth-grittingly determined that they make the case for the possibility of individual heroism in a harrowingly venal world. – Inkoo Kang, Los Angeles Times, Dec 17, 2015

Fresh: Director Won Sin-yeon skillfully emulates the you-are-there-but-where-the-heck-is-that? style of the "Bourne" movies. – Mark Jenkins, Washington Post, Dec 17, 2015

Rotten: Witnessing this play out is more exhausting than exciting. – Michael Nordine, L.A. Weekly, Dec 17, 2015

Worth the Money

This film is really good and keeps you interested throughout. Great action scenes in both the martial arts and high-speed chases. Acting is surprisingly good as well (mostly). This week it rents for only .99 cents. Well worth it.

Pretty intense.

Exciting and interesting all the way. A bit lagged in the middle but just briefly.
Action is good.
